I run a small business called Game Post of San Francisco. I have many stories about running a small business, but this time I want to focus on one of the most difficult and catastrophic parts.
Break-ins.
Theft, property damage, and what it takes to recover my business. And the pain I have endured.
Game Post has been attacked five times. The gate and front door twice, the front window, and in-store theft.
The photos included are just a small snapshot of the damage to the front door and window. They only scratch the surface of the amount of inventory stolen.
I have restored all the glass and added deterrents. I have restocked missing inventory twice. Some inventory is not replaceable.
I'm sure you can guess what kind of stress and anxiety I've been going through. Waking in the middle of the night to check the cameras. Trying not to cry.
