Hi everybody!

It's Diana, and I’m excited, grateful, and a bit nervous to share this next chapter of my journey with you. After nearly 3 years of social transition, HRT, medical waitlists and consults, and insurance navigation, I am now preparing for gender-affirming Facial Feminization Surgery (FFS) in January!

This is a pivotal step in my journey to align my physical appearance with my gender identity, and it’s a moment I’ve been working toward for years!

However, this year has been especially and unexpectedly challenging. Not only is the future of gender-affirming care uncertain as of Nov. 4th, but as a member of the VFX industry, I’ve faced unprecedented instability in my career, making it difficult to secure the income I planned for to cover the expense the down-time of recovery. After soul-searching, and many conversations, I’ve made the decision to launch this fundraiser to help ensure I can focus on resting and healing—both physically and emotionally, by lessening the pressure of financial strain as I get back on my feet.

Your support will help keeps things running smoothly while I continue to heal and line up work post-surgery.
