Help Diana Cust in Her Fight To Beat Chronic Lyme Disease
Donation protected
My name is Jennifer McGee, and like all mothers, I never thought I would find myself here…asking for help for my critically ill daughter, Diana Cust.
Diana has been diagnosed, after a grueling three and a half year journey, with Chronic Neurological Lyme Disease. This devastating, difficult-to-treat disease has stolen her life and has rendered her autonomic nervous system incredibly damaged. This means her cardiac, respiratory, digestive, and neurological systems have all been impacted.
Following over a year of failed treatments, all out-of-pocket expenses, uncovered by their health insurance, Diana and Alex are ready for a “Hail Mary” option. On July 15 and, then again, in November, they will travel to a clinic in Wisconsin, Lyme Stop, for extensive treatment. None of these expenses are covered by insurance.
They will both miss work, they will be required to pay for travel and accommodations, and expensive medical interventions.
We humbly ask for any help you are able to give to this little family. They have a three-year-old daughter, Ashton, and they are fighting as hard as they can to ensure Ashy has a healthy Momma one day soon.
Anyone who knows Diana knows she is the first to step in to help anyone in need: friend, family, or stranger. As hard as this is for her to accept, it’s her turn to be the recipient.
Bless you as you consider this situation, and if you would share with others who may know Diana and Alex, it would be most appreciated.
