Help Diana Chilelli Fight Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer

Dear friends, family, and compassionate community members,

We are reaching out to you with heavy hearts and a plea for support for our beloved mother, wife, daughter, sister and aunt, Diana Chilelli. Many of you may know Diana from her warm smile and the delicious meals served at our formerly family-owned business, La Cashina Ristorante, at the heart of our community in Marlboro, NJ for decades.

Currently, Diana is facing the battle of her life against stage 3 locally advanced pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) cancer. It's a cruel and relentless disease, causing her immense pain and disrupting every aspect of her life. Despite her incredible strength and courage, the tumor is currently inoperable, leaving her in constant agony. She's undergoing intense treatments that drain her physically, emotionally, and financially.

Due to the excruciating pain and the side effects of treatment, Diana had to make the difficult, but necessary decision to stop working. With bills piling up and disability assistance taking an eternity to be approved, they are struggling to make ends meet. Our father, Domenick, has had to reduce his work hours to care for Diana, putting additional strain on their finances.

To make matters worse, the treatment options covered by their insurance may not be enough to give Diana the fighting chance she needs. There are experimental treatments and specialized doctors out of state that could offer other options, but they come with hefty price tags and may not even be covered by insurance at all. Our only goal is to get Diana the best care possible.

We are turning to you, our community, for help. The loss of Diana's income, Dominick's reduced salary, and the already incurred out-of-pocket medical expenses have created a financial burden that is beginning to weigh quite heavily on them. The anticipation of possible huge medical costs in the near future that are not covered by insurance further adds to that burden. Every donation, no matter how small, will make a difference in Diana's fight against this merciless disease. Even a $5 donation will cover one of her anti-nausea drinks that she is required to have two times a day!
