On January 2022, our family’s lives changed. We received the news no parent wants to hear. Our sweet daughter Diana who had just turned nine, was diagnosed with leukemia. Diana is currently at the hospital receiving chemotherapy treatments. It has been a hard year for our family and the medical bills will continue to come in. Diana has a long road of treatments ahead of her. My wife and I have made the decision to always have one parent at the hospital with her. As you can imagine, this has created a financial burden, as we have always been two-income household and we have two more kids to support.
