Help Diana and Oscar Start Over

Hello, My name is Diana and on the night of September 1st I was trapped in my apartment due to the flood of Hurricane Ida. Within a matter of minutes the apartment was flooded to the point of being up to my chest. I was terrified with all electrical items in house. Both exits jammed due to the high floods. My husband was working at the time and tried his best to get home as quickly as he could. Close friends came to the rescue me out of the apartment. 911 wasnt responding to any calls i made. I suffered cuts and bruises trying to get out of the apartment. Luckily friends came to help me out safely.

My husband and I lost everything from our Queens home. Going back the next day was heartbreaking. Everything was gone. Please help my husband and i get back on our feet. Any bit helps. We truly appreciate every bit of help that has been given to us. Its not easy to start all over again. Thank you to everyone.
