I’m reaching out for help during a devastating time. In January 2020, I broke my ankle while working at Amazon, and despite the injury, I was forced to keep working in the warehouse for a full year. After finally getting legal help, I learned that the delay and denial from their insurance—Zurich, through Sedgwick—made my injury far worse. It’s now been six long years. My workers’ comp ended two years ago, and SDI ran out last year. Since then, I’ve been draining my savings to keep a roof over my head. My stepmother, who is 82, depends on me, and we have no family here. I’m at risk of losing our home and being on the streets. On top of everything, I am in constant pain every day.

I just need support to make it through until January, when my case should be resolved. There may be more surgeries ahead, but this is all that stands between us and survival. Your help will keep us housed and give us hope during this uncertain time.
