My name is Phanomvan Pongdara, the mother of Dhonavanh who was hit by a car back in March of 2024, and we have a lifelong road to recovery ahead of us. Many say that after a year of Traumatic Brain Injury, the progress will plateau, but not for Dhon. We have seen so much progress just in this past month at Madonna Rehabilitation, and we are just getting started.

Since November of 2024, I lost my job and my medical insurance benefits. We decided to opt into COBRA, which costs $1,000 more each month for health benefits, which has helped us get into the inpatient rehab we are at now.

With so much unknown about what this road to recovery will look like, I am reaching out to you all to help raise funds to help cover his medical costs. Any help is appreciated.
