Help Dharun Fight Cancer!

Hi all, my name is Sabitha Kasthuri, and I am fundraising on behalf of Raja Ravi, a very close family friend in Chennai, India.

This is Dharun Ravi. He is only 19 years old and has been diagnosed with Ewing's Sarcoma, an extremely rare bone cancer.

Since his diagnosis on January 28th, Dharun has gone through three rounds of chemotherapy for a large 27 centimeter/10+ inch mass in his pelvic area, but due to the tumor's rapid growth, he urgently needs surgery and radiation.

The invasive surgery and the unreliable nature of the tumor will likely lead to the removal of his anal canal, leading to many future procedures and a lifelong colostomy bag.

His father, Ravi, is a farmer who sacrificed everything to ensure Dharun and his two siblings were educated. At only 19 years old, Dharun's life is truly just starting, and his current and future medical expenses are putting a massive financial strain on his family.
