Hi,

My name is Heta, currently residing in Ontario, Canada. I am reaching out to you today with a heavy heart to share the story of my dear friend and former colleague, Dharmik, who is currently fighting a brave battle against stage 4 cancer in Ahmedabad, India. Here is his story in his own words:

"Hello, my name is Dharmik Pancholi, and I am 24 years old. Life has thrown my family and me some unimaginable challenges, and I am reaching out to you in this critical time for help and support.

I was first diagnosed with rhabdomyosarcoma, a rare and aggressive form of cancer, shortly before my father tragically passed away in 2020 due to COVID-19. As the only child of my mother, I endured the battle with cancer, undergoing two rounds of chemotherapy. At the time, my reports showed promising results, giving us hope for a brighter future.

However, in July 2023, our world was turned upside down again when the cancer resurfaced, affecting my ribs and spine. I went through 23 to 25 intense radiation sessions and 6 to 7 more rounds of chemotherapy, trying to fight back. But despite our relentless efforts, on September 17, 2024, we received devastating news: the cancer had spread aggressively to my liver, lungs, chest, diaphragm, stomach, and bones.

I am now in stage 4 metastatic rhabdomyosarcoma, a critical and life-threatening phase. Despite the challenges, my mother and I are determined not to give up. My mother, a widow, is my sole caregiver and my greatest source of strength. Although we have managed to maintain financial stability so far, the mounting costs of treatments, medications, and supportive care are overwhelming.

Your generous support can give me the chance to access advanced treatments and provide some much-needed relief to my mother, who has stood by me as my unwavering pillar of hope. Any contribution, no matter how small, will make a difference in this fight for my life.

Dharmik is one of the bravest and most hardworking guys I know. His strength, positivity, and unwavering spirit have touched so many lives, but now he needs our support more than ever. He has been facing not only the physical challenges of this illness, but also the emotional and financial burdens that come with it.
