Help Dharmendra Recover After a Tragic Shooting at Nepal’s Gen Z Protest
Dharmendra is only 22 years old and is currently fighting through a long and painful recovery after being shot four times during the recent Gen Z protest in Nepal.
He is currently being treated at the Civil Service Hospital in New Baneshwor, Kathmandu. After spending days in the ICU, he has now been moved to the Surgery Ward, but his condition remains serious. Bile is still leaking from his chest, and his lungs, diaphragm, and liver were severely damaged. According to doctors, it will take at least 4–5 months for his liver to fully recover.
Although his hospital stay is covered, his family faces heavy financial strain. They sometimes need to purchase medicines outside the hospital, cover daily expenses, and his father has had to stay by his side full-time throughout his recovery and hospitalization. His two sisters live in their village, Kalikot District, with their mother, while his brother and father remain at the hospital to support him.
This fundraiser is to help Dharmendra and his family through this painful and uncertain time, covering medicine costs, recovery needs, and basic support until he can stand on his feet again.
Goal: $5,000
We have set a goal of $5,000 USD, which will cover:
• Medicines and medical supplies not covered by the hospital
• Food and living costs for the family during his long hospital stay
• Travel expenses between their village and Kathmandu
• Financial support for Dharmendra and his family during his 4–5 months recovery period
Dharmendra is a hardworking young man with big dreams of becoming a Chartered Accountant, and he deserves the chance to heal and continue building his future. Every donation, no matter the amount, will directly support him and his family.
Please consider donating and sharing this fundraiser. Your kindness and support mean everything to Dharmendra and his loved ones right now.
