Help Dhana’s Husband & Children Through This Difficult Time

We are deeply saddened to share the passing of Dhan Maya Mainali (Khadka), aged 31, who tragically lost her life on November 25, 2024, at Sister of Charity Hospital in Buffalo, New York. Dhan Maya passed away during treatment following the birth of her newborn son. She leaves behind a 5-year-old daughter and her newborn son, who is still in the hospital.

Originally from Bhutan, the family spent 18 years in a refugee camp in Nepal before being resettled in the United States. Dhan Maya was the backbone of her family, tirelessly working to meet their needs. Her untimely passing has left an immense void that feels impossible to fill.

Her husband is now faced with overwhelming challenges, navigating limited resources and an uncertain future for their children. The family is in urgent need of support to cope with this devastating loss and the financial burdens it has brought.
