I was involved in a car accident that changed everything for me. Without transportation, I lost my job, and when I applied for unemployment, the company fought to deny my claim, saying it wasn’t their fault I couldn’t get to work. Now, I’m facing eviction, all while caring for my child who’s in school. The church I’ve attended for 12 years hasn’t been able to help, and I’m struggling with diabetes and high blood pressure. My car’s engine died, so I’m renting a car just to deliver packages part-time and afford basic necessities.

I love where I live—it’s a quiet, clean, and welcoming community. The funds raised will help me pay rent so I can stay in my home and, if possible, get a new engine for my car. That way, I can visit my daughter in college and keep working toward stability. My dream is to go back to school and pass my radiology boards, even though I’ve failed three times.
