Dexter got sick about 10 days ago. Vet care in SoCal is difficult to find as nearly all are short staffed due to Omicron.

We finally were able to find a veterinary hospital who would see him and were shocked to learn our bill was $4,000 just for one day.

I simply don't have the money to get the care he needs for 3 more days, such as oxygen and IV. Our savings was already nearly depleted after a difficult year.
