My life has taken a sudden turn, and I’m reaching out for help as I work to get back on my feet. After being kicked out of my house by my ex-fiancé, I’ve been moving from place to place, staying with people I barely know. Right now, I’m incredibly grateful to a couple who are letting me stay rent-free, but it’s still a tough and uncertain time.

Just a few days ago, I started a job at East 18th Cafe, hoping it would be a fresh start. Unfortunately, after I brought up some concerns to the owner—just as the new manager suggested—I was let go. Now I’m without a job or steady income, and the cost of living in California is making things even harder. I’m doing my best to stay positive and keep moving forward, but I need a little help to get through this rough patch.

The funds from this fundraiser will go directly toward groceries and paying off my credit card, so I can cover basic needs while I look for new work and plan my next steps.
