Help Dexter Fight Tick-Borne Illness

Hello! This is Dexter an australian shepherd boxer mix, he is 8 years old and was just diagnosed with ehrlichiosis a tick-borne illness. We live in northern colorado and he is on heartworm and tick prevention throughout warmer months of the year but somehow he has tested positive for ehrlichia.

He needs testing asap including a blood panel to do a white and red blood cell count and a urinalysis to see if the disease is affecting his kidneys. The total for testing is around $400 and then the treatment/medication is around $250. 1 love my boy more than anything in this world but I am not in a financial position to be able to afford all of this by myself.
