Help Dexter and Baxter Heal and Reunite

Story

This is Dexter and Baxter, father and son. These two, for the first time ever, attacked each other, resulting in Dexter, tan and white, being rushed to the emergency vet with 18 puncture wounds all in his throat and front legs. Baxter, black and white, had a cracked jaw and four punctures between his eyes and eardrum due to us having to place a metal bar in his jaw to get him to unlock his hold on Dexter's throat. This fight went on for 20 minutes according to our home video. We were lucky enough to break it up, being that we were home and heard the yelps and growls on our Xfinity app. It was the worst thing I've ever experienced. I love my two dogs, and before this incident, they wouldn't hurt even our cats' kittens, let alone each other. No idea what caused the fight other than me screaming for help in the end probably made it WAAAAAYYY WORSE than it needed to be. The reason I'm asking for donations is I only have two options now: either put one down or get them fixed. I am a bad dog parent for not already having done this, but I really didn't ever expect this type of thing to happen, EVER!!!! Now here we sit with a $1300.00 vet bill already paid, and the option to maybe neuter them both and the chances of them reuniting a possibility. As of right now, we have to take turns with each Dexter and Baxter on outside time, feeding time, playtime, etc. It's emotionally stressful, more on the two because they are probably feeling like they are being disposed of at times! I just am asking to raise enough to afford the fixing of the two, and anything else raised I'll donate to the facility towards someone else's cries for help! I ask you to please don't come down on me because my dogs attacked one another and please just help me to get my two pups back in the warm-hearted state they were before this horrible event took place! Thank you in advance.
