Vet bills
Hey all Stephen here.
As most know ive done my part and would do more in helping these doggies. Ive fostered quite a few doggies but this time i need the help with Dexter one that i took on myself as him being a Staffordshire bull terrier..
So on Thursday 9 April me an Dexter were playing in the garden. Dexter being Dexter he was zooming around the garden when he squealed a squeal ive never heard an animal make before in my life. He then was draging his right back leg. He wasn't great. Took to the vets within an hour so emergency appointment at a cost of £165 paid up front.
When they checked him over they couldnt be sure what is wrong without an xray. Thinking its a fracture or dislocation or even his femar so give him 2 injections at a cost of £55. They were going to keep him in till the morning for xray at more cost. So I brought him home and took him back in at 8.30am.
They keep him in till 5pm as the had to sedate him for the xray. When I went to collect him he is still the same no movement in his leg. Just drops. Vet said from xray everything is ok. If hes still the same by Wednesday he needs an mri scan which I dont know the cost as of yet.
So far im at £700 for Vets, Meds, Xray.
I'll have appointment on Wednesday with whatever is next. I'll keep everyone informed as I go along.
