Help Dex Walk Again
Donation protected
I am starting this Go Fund Me for a dear client and friend of mine, Kim Tresick. I have been treating her 4 year old Dachshund Dexter for a suspected herniated disc for the last two months, and he had been responding well to steroids and acupuncture/laser.
Unfortunately, something happened on Christmas Eve & Dexter has suddenly become paralyzed. He is scheduled to have an MRI tomorrow morning and will undoubtedly need surgery which is between $6-7,000. His prognosis is guarded, but I at least want the Tresick's to be able to give him a chance without finances being prohibitive.
Kim lost her husband suddenly to meningitis several years ago (just a few days after he bought Dexter for the family), leaving Kim to care for their six children. She has since had to refinance her home in order to pay for a $12,000 bill at the emergency hospital to save her other dogs life. Her youngest child was also recently diagnosed with juvenile diabetes which has taken a toll as well. Their family has been through far too much hardship. I understand that times are extremely difficult for so many people right due to COVID, but if you have the ability to donate any small amount, it would be appreciated beyond words <3
