Dex is my 3-year-old dog and son. Recently, he was diagnosed with a urethra prolapse, a painful and urgent condition that requires emergency surgery. This situation came up at the worst possible time for me financially, and I’ve been struggling to find a way to help him. I even looked into surrendering Dex, but learned that, due to the high cost of treatment, he would likely be put down. I can’t imagine my life without him, and this fundraiser is truly my last resort.

The funds raised here will go directly toward Dex’s emergency surgery. If there is anything left over, it will help cover his pain medication and recovery. I want everyone to know that I would come here if I didn’t have to—every dollar will go to Dex’s care and well-being. If you know me, you know how much Dex means to me and how much I love him. He’s been by my side through so much, and I want to do everything I can to give him the chance he deserves.
