Well… here we are again. Two weeks post bite wounds and unfortunately, 1 outta 3 wounds hasn’t been “dew-ing” that well. I took him into the vet today to get it assessed… The doctor shared that it’s still an open wound and if we were to leave it to “heal on its own” increases the risk of infection so much.

Currently, he’s back under anesthetic getting that one wound flushed out, cleaned and stitched up for a second time. Fingers crossed this round goes better.

Positive Update: His tail and right leg have healed up really well, and his fur is coming back! So glad his thick, fluffy tail

is recovering well — yay!

For those who don’t know: Two weeks ago, Dewey was bitten baaaaaad by a dog. It was messed up, very loud and I’m SO glad Riv wasn’t around when that happened.

I am so humbled and grateful for the community support throughout this all. Thank you so much for the financial help, it really means the world to me and my family. We all feel the love big time.
