Dewayne Blunt (Smokey the Bear) has been recently diagnosed with Stage 4 Colon metastatic cancer. He’s been to doctors all last week. He has a team of doctors working in all areas of the disease which have affected his colon, lungs, liver, heart and lymph. These doctors are the best in the field.

 

He retired a US Forest Service Fire Captain, worked as a Manager of the Girl Scouts of Northern California located at Camp Sugarpine in Dorrington, Ca,

and been a General Building Contractor for the last few years.

 

His number is 98m. Yes his car number. He enjoyed racing in the Nascar Pacific Coast Racing Series sanctioned events, sometimes racing 3-4 nights a week in addition to his jobs.

 

He has a loving and supportive relationship with family, friends and acquaintances.

All are keeping a positive attitude. Cathy, family, 4 grandchildren, friends, coworkers, and all of those he has met along his journey so far, But he says he’s not done!

 

He’s just not done loving, living and working.

 

He is faced with upcoming surgeries, treatments, and doctors are three to four hours from his home.
