Elle Hosking, owner of Devotion Arts, woke to a call that no small business owner ever wants. Shops beneath her studio were flooded, water pouring in from above. In an instant, her heart sank and her dreams shattered. It’s hard to even know where to begin when everything feels lost. But in that darkness, something powerful happened. People showed up. Friends, neighbours, parents and Teachers all rallied around. Buckets in hand, sleeves rolled up, ready to help salvage what they could. The road ahead is messy. The damage is extensive, but Devotion Arts is not just bricks and ceilings. It’s a family. And with that family, the studio will rise again.

We desperately need your help to get Devotion Arts back on its feet.

There will be thousands of pounds needed for replacement equipment, repairs and a new ceiling, professional cleaning and decorating, temporary studio hire so classes can continue, and help towards lost wages and income while the studio is unable to operate normally.

Devotion Arts is much more than a dance studio. It is a second home to so many children and young people — somewhere they learn, perform, build confidence, make friendships and become part of a family.
