If you know Devone Lansing, then you definitely LOVE her! Wife to Jesse, mother to four incredible teenagers/young adults who, to her delight, are all still living at home, loved daughter, and our sweet friend. Unfortunately, Devone was given a big blow a few weeks ago when she was diagnosed with breast cancer - Invasive Ductal Carcinoma.

As if that wasn’t enough, her health insurance recently changed, and coverage is different (worse) than they thought. It has only been a month since her biopsy and diagnosis, and she has already received their first bill for over $8,000 that they are responsible for.

If you know Devone and Jesse, then you know they are usually the ones helping out their friends, giving back to the community, feeding veterans, loving on senior citizens, and sending Christmas gifts to children all over the world. They are ALWAYS involved in some project to help others and to be the hands and feet of Jesus. So it came as no surprise when the mention of creating this fundraiser came up that Devone immediately said, “No, I want to be the one helping people!” I am confident that no matter what this journey entails, Devone WILL continue to do just that! But in the meantime, I ask that you prayerfully consider how you can financially help this sweet friend of ours and her family during this time.

Devone will need to have surgery in the very near future, and at this time, it is unclear if she will need to undergo radiation. Though this is something that no one would ever want to face, Devone’s faith and the support from family and friends is what will surely get her through.
