My stepson, Devon Bell, was in a bad accident while out making deliveries at work a few weeks ago. The accident resulted in his shoulder being dislocated, and he had to return to see a specialist. During this time, the doctor discussed a lump on his neck, which raised concern. Devon explained it's been there for a while, and the doctor set up a day to do surgery to cut it out and send it out to be tested. Today, we got the results back, and it's cancer. Hodgkin's lymphoma, to be exact. Though Devon is a fighter and God has his hands on him, it's going to be a long, scary process. The biggest concern is the long process he will have to wait for either workers' comp or disability to kick in. Like most people, his bills don't stop. Although his father and I are willing to do as much as possible, we are asking friends and family to help us raise money to make sure his medical and all other bills are taken care of in order to make this stressful time a little easier for him. Anything helps and is greatly appreciated. We are also asking if you don't have it to donate, please keep Devon in your prayers.
