Help Devine&Family Heart Transplant Journey

On may 22, 2023 Devine was admitted to Boston Children’s Hospital and was diagnosed with poor perfusion to his gut and end stage heart failure. As his symptoms were quickly getting worse the doctors recommended doing another surgery. He was very high risk going into this surgery, as his heart was failing right before our eyes.
On June 5 2023 Devine underwent his 3rd open heart surgery to place a mechanical device to help pump his heart. This machine is called a BVAD also known as a Berlin Heart.
Now 9 months later he is still patiently waiting for his gift. He is a shining light to many in the hospital and continues to inspire everyone he meets. Any donations are greatly appreciated by both Devine and his family while they live at the hospital.
