Hello everyone. I come to you humbly with my request. Devin and I are in a financial hardship and need help to get past this difficult time. Devin got bad news at the optometrist yesterday. Devin recently lost vision in his left eye and his right eye has started to deteriorate. He has diabetic retinopathy and the retina in his left eye has detached and the process has started in the right eye. He is due to see a specialist in two weeks with surgery forthcoming to save his right eye. He is no longer able to drive, which is how he helped to support our home. He will be starting the process of getting on disability, but until then, everything falls onto me. Devin’s job was what provided our day to day income for gas and groceries. I am currently sitting on a quarter tank of gas and two to three meals in the kitchen. I don’t have another payday for two weeks.

This is where I need you.

My main goal is to make it back and forth to work and provide through my next couple of paycycles. Any amount is appreciated. $10 or $20 would provide gas and food. I will also be allocating funds for doctor copays, medications, (I am an insulin dependent diabetic) and rent/utilities. I hope to find a second job to make up the difference and save a down payment on a more reliable vehicle in the near future, but that takes time we are short on.

Please pray for us. The fear of what Devin is facing has us down on our knees looking for a miracle. The added stress of finances makes things even tougher to face.
