My name is Devin. I’ve spent the past year navigating trauma, medical emergencies, housing instability, and a legal system that dismissed my truth. I fought hard. I documented everything. I did everything I could to be heard.
But the court case is over — and I lost. What I didn’t lose in paperwork, I lost in energy, time, and safety.
Now I’m stranded, still homeless, trying to rebuild from the emotional and financial wreckage left behind. I’m staying in temporary spaces, doing everything I can to stay clean, safe, and mentally grounded. Some days I succeed. Some days I don’t.
I’ve turned this fundraiser back on because I still need help — just to survive, and eventually to start again. Your support goes toward:
• A safe place to sleep
• Food, hygiene, and gas
• Phone, car, and storage payments (all crucial lifelines)
I’m no longer fighting a case. But I’m still fighting for my life, and I’m not done yet.
Whether you can donate $5, $50, or just share this, it means more than I can explain. Every bit of support gives me time, safety, and space to breathe again.
Thank you for seeing me.
— Devin
