Help Devin Gregory Recover from his Second Car Theft

Hello members of The Bond, Dickens Fair, Ren Fair, The Bay Area Theater Community, AND anyone I have ever helped over the years… our friend and brother Devin Gregory has had his car stolen a second time while he is out of town. This is like the last one a year a gio... a total loss. He is in a tremendous bind and insurance will only cover a fraction of what he needs to pay off the note and buy another work vehicle. So, I am turning to all of you.

We have helped each other in the past when the chips were down and we will do so in the future. This is what community is all about. At least it is what I dream community ought to be about. Coming together a dollar or twenty a piece to make things right for one of our own. Also (and this is when I put the squeeze on you all), if I have helped you myself personally in the past (and there have, quietly helped, been plenty of you) then you know that all I have ever asked is that you pay it forward. I'm calling those chits in. This is that time.

Devin needs our help now. There is no way for him to get to work or even to do his work without a vehicle. His job depends on this. He has never stinted on helping others so it is now time for us to help him. He has been there for all of us at one time or another so let's give back. He owes money on this car and he needs a new one. We can help defray that.

We are an interconnected community. It is beautiful to talk with people and to find out that they know other people that I am close with. The intersection of it all warms me. It is more than warm and fuzzy thoughts though... This is also what we are about. We are about mutual aid and support. If we don’t help each other then why do we even bother. So I am asking for your help in two ways. Donate something no matter how small. It will help if we all do a little something. Also if you can or if you cannot give money then PLEASE spread the word throughout our communities. Share the link.

All the money goes to Devin to get a vehicle to get to and from work. It’s not too much to ask for so let’s pitch in and make this happen. Let’s do this thing!!!! It’s a worthy endeavor.
