Hi my name is Melissa Cerny. On 10/27 my husband had a craniotomy to remove a brain tumor. All was successful until he had to return do to an infection. He has had further complications involving two more surgery’s all within a month. He is now in physical rehab relearning how to walk, talk, eat and hug. On 12/1, two of our dogs broke out into a fight nearly killing each other. My mom attempted to break up the fight for about 20 minutes with all her strength. Momo sustained multiple injuries of internal bleeding, collapsed trachea, and numerous puncture wounds. She has had surgery to repair the injuries but is still unable to walk at this time and is still under the care of an emergency vet. Later that night my mom still had not caught her breath hours after the event. She vomited numerous times. I proceeded to take her to the ER and she began having left arm pain. She was having a heart attack. She is now stable but still under care at the hospital and is told she will need to be out of work for 6 months due to the major stress on her heart. In summary, I have my mom, husband, and dog all under a hospital roof. Medical bills are insane, I am on my own, and I would be so grateful for anyway you can help!
