I am creating this GoFundMe for my dear friend and handyman, Devein Jewel Payne. Devein is one of the kindest, most generous, and most helpful people you could ever meet. Whenever someone needs a hand, he is always there to step up. Now, he urgently needs ours.

On September 3rd, 2026, Devein was viciously attacked by a pit bull. The attack was severe and required an immediate hospital admission, where he spent six grueling days fighting to recover. Because of the extent of his injuries, he required heavy sedation and had to undergo skin graft surgery.

The trauma of this incident has left him unable to function normally or return to work. As a handyman, Devein relies entirely on physical labor to earn a living, and right now, he simply cannot work. With zero income coming in and no financial safety net, the stress of basic living expenses and medical needs is overwhelming.

I am starting this campaign in hopes that our community can surround Devein with love and relief. Every donation, no matter the size, will directly support his emotional and financial recovery during this traumatic time.

If you are unable to donate, sharing this campaign with your family and friends would mean the world to us. Thank you so much for your kindness, prayers, and support for Devein.
