Donation protected
Devananda is the elder daughter of Anil and Bhadra in a remote village in Kerala. She is 13 years old. She is suffering from Adolescent Idiopathic Scoliosis which has been progressive over the years. With this deformity she has tendency to fall and this has been affecting her quality of life both physically and socially and may result in many future complications which may prevent her from leading a normal life.
Due to financial constraints the family has resorted to alternate treatments, however now surgery remains the only choice for this young girl to lead a near normal life. The father and mother are daily wage workers and have severe financial constraints and the livelihood has been worst hit due to Pandemic. They live in a small rented house with aged grandparents with 2 little girls and is struggling to meet basic livelihood needs. Hence any small help is invaluable. The surgery is needed at the earliest however financial constraints have held them back from getting any sort of treatment. Post surgery she requires physiotherapy and rehabilitation.
Since I know the family we have tried to pool in help from all possible sources. A small help after all means a whole new world for this family.
