Thank you so much for visiting our page! Words fail us at this time. We are all so deeply brokenhearted and devastated at the unexpected, tragic loss of our amazing cousin Derek Peck.   Derek passed suddenly from this life to life with Jesus from an undetected enlarged heart.  There are no words to describe the shock and loss that our family will carry in our hearts forever.  

If you knew Derek, you knew that he was a seeker of truth and a passionate servant of Jesus.  He never backed down in fear.  He knew who he was and who's he was, and we rejoice in the hope and promise that we will see him again one day in heaven. 

 Derek was a loving devoted husband and father!!  He was a loyal friend who consistently invested time into others!!  He was also a hard worker who made history come to life!  He began his career as a historical tour guide in middle Tennessee, and his adventurous spirit led him across the country to the Hoover Dam in Nevada, the Redwoods in California, and finally as the site manager of the Lanier Mansion State Historic site in Indiana.  

The loss of our beloved Derek leaves a HUGE hole in the fabric of our family, especially for his sweet wife, Devan, and their precious kids, Talayeh (4) and Remington (2).  Derek was the sole financial provider for his family, which allowed Devan to invest in their children as a stay-at-home mom.  Please consider helping to lighten the financial burden for Devan and the kids as they navigate Derek's final expenses and transition to a new normal.  

Thank you for the many prayers that have been lifted up for our family and for being the hands and feet of Jesus during this difficult time! We are all so grateful!! 

Derek, we miss you terribly! It won't ever be the same without you and can't wait to see you again!! Devan and kids, we will ALWAYS be here for you for whatever you need!
