My name is Darnell Willis and I'm raising funds for my grandson Deuce and his mom. Deuce was born with quite a lot of disabilities. He was born missing quite a few bones in his body and a knee cap on his R leg. His L leg was a lot shorter than his R one. In the beginning he had to wear a shoe with a 4 inch lift. Dr. Paley of the Paley Institute in W.Palm Beach, FL fitted him with a fixator. That's where they put nails in his bones to lenghten his leg. Very painful. That was done around 4 yrs ago. His foot on that leg now has become very deformed. We took him to New Orleans for a consult since it's closer to home but their answer to the problem is amputation. So my daughter took him back @ the first of Dec to the Paley Institute. Dr. Paley will perform two operations. One of which is another leg lengthening process. Once his foot is corrected there's going to be a sizable difference in the length of both legs. I'm asking for help because Deuces down time and rehab will take 3 to 6 months to complete and my daughter will have to be off from work to care for him. Her need will be great but I understand that many people are hurting financially. If I can get @ least a 1000 people that would give me $5.00 or 500 people donate $10.00 that would help us tremendously and hopefully more people would be able to help.
