Help Detroit's Marche du Nain Rouge!

Since 2010, I have given myself over to organizing a menagerie of wonderful people to work on producing Detroit's biggest (only?) community art parade, Marche du Nain Rouge. It brings me great joy to see thousands come out from all over the city and the region in all manner of costume and creative self-expression to celebrate Detroit and the beginning of spring.

The Marche is free to attend but costs money to make. We have been so lucky to count on the partnership of the Detroit community, from individual gifts to local businesses, to larger corporations, and philanthropic grants. Every dollar counts.

For my birthday this year, I'm asking for the additional support of my friends, colleagues, and acquaintances to give a little. Believe me, it all adds up and can help make the difference this year to ensure we'll be back with a few more smiles.
