Help DeSyre Graduate!

I am a first gen student who has worked hard to put myself through college from 2020-2024. I moved to NYC for an opportunity to learn and work knowing my family would not have the means to provide any academic support. Despite accumulating over 40,000 dollars in merit based scholarships, grants, and financial aid in addition to paying out of pocket I am still short of my graduation goal. If you know me, you know I have worked very hard these last few years. In addition to being a full time student for the last 2 years I have also worked as a dormitory Resident Advisor, fitness instructor, receptionist, club president and managing unpaid internships. After seeing two tuition increases and being charged an additional $3,000 course over-tally to complete an independent study for my capstone research project my balance is back up to $9,000 and I am no longer able to manage the cost alone.

I am asking for help to make the minimum $2500 down payment to graduate by the deadline May 10 which will secure my place in commencement. And any additional support beyond that amount is appreciated and will go directly towards the remaining $6,000 tuition balance.
