Help Destry Jeffers Heal and Support Her Family

Hi, I’m Rachael Wernsman. I am raising funds for my friend Destry Jeffers, who was in a terrible car accident. She has bilateral facial fractures, septum fracture, bilateral jaw fractures, occipital fracture/neck fracture, rib fractures 3 & 6-12, pneumothorax, ruptured spleen, second-degree liver laceration, and kidney hematoma. She has already underwent surgery for the internal bleeding. She is scheduled for another surgery on Tuesday to repair the jaw fractures and will likely remain intubated for a while after that. Due to the neck fracture, she will be in a neck brace for several months. Destry’s mother, Stacy McKinney is at the hospital with her and will be staying for several weeks until she is stabilized. Destry and Stacy both work in the healthcare field, and will be off during this time without pay. Destry is going to be off work for at least several months. We are hoping to help get her household bills covered, help financially with her four children, and cover the cost that they are missing while not being at work. Anyone who knows Destry can vouch she is one of the most helpful people and always will to go out of her way to care for someone else. Thank you for anyone who is able/willing to help financially.
