Hi, my name is Destiny, and I’m reaching out during one of the most difficult times of my life. My beloved cat is currently battling serious health issues — she’s been diagnosed with anemia and liver failure, and the prognosis is uncertain. I took her to the vet today and spent $1,200 on blood work, x-rays, and initial medication. While this may have bought us a bit more time, I have to prepare for the possibility that it may not be enough.

She’s more than just a pet — she’s my family, my emotional support, and my best friend. Watching her decline so quickly has been heartbreaking. I’m doing everything I can to give her a fighting chance, but the costs are overwhelming. Between further testing, treatments, potential hospitalization, or — if it comes to it — end-of-life care, the expenses are mounting quickly.
