My name is Destiny, and I’m a senior at Southwest Dekalb High School. This year is a huge milestone for me, and I’m working hard to make the most of every opportunity. I’m involved in both the band and the swim team, and these activities have truly shaped who I am. Through band, I’ve had the chance to travel, meet new people, and come out of my shell. Being part of the swim team helped me develop leadership skills and even led me to become a certified lifeguard with CPR training. These experiences have taught me discipline, teamwork, and confidence—qualities I’ll carry with me into college and beyond.

As I approach graduation, there are several important expenses I need to cover, including senior dues, a cap and gown, and fees for my extracurriculars. I was able to save enough over the summer to pay my band dues, but I still need help with the remaining costs for my senior year and swim team. I’m reaching out because these expenses are the final steps I need to take to graduate and pursue my dream of going to college. Any support will help me cross the finish line and celebrate this important achievement with my classmates and family.
