Help Destiny get back to herself

In August 2021 Destiny went to have her first dose of the Covid vaccine. Within 48 hours of the injection she began to experience facial numbness,  headaches and intense pain throughout her lower extremities. These regularly occurring symptoms have terrified her to the point where she has made multiple trips to emergency rooms,  urgent care facilities.  As the months have gone by she begins to feel as what she describes as disconnected  or “watching my life through someone else’s eyes” and that “my brain is not working with the rest of my body”. After countless doctors visits and every test imaginable she is told she has anxiety and depression. The worst part has been skepticism from the doctors.  She is told she should take antidepressants even though she has explained that she does not feel depressed. She feels like the doctors do not understand her or her concerns with what is happening to her. Her symptoms have gradually gotten worse and she struggles with it daily. Prior to this Destiny had no medical issues and was completely healthy and had a very vibrant social life with friends and family.

 

My name is Candace and Destiny is my niece. I am starting this go fund me for her to be able to receive treatment for these symptoms. While researching I came across a video of a young woman telling her story of how she received the shot and had many neurological symptoms such as numbness in her arm and headaches. She also said “I felt like my brain was separated from my body and they were not connected”.  Soon afterwards I was reading the testimonials of other people who feIt was the same exact thing Destiny had been saying since the beginning. The woman stated after the 5-day treatment she felt 90% better! And most of her symptoms resolved. This treatment involves intensive customized IV protocol therapy and low level laser light therapy. We immediately reached out to this doctors office and scheduled a consult. The treatment costs $3,000 per session and they recommended 5 sessions making the total $15,000. Her consult appointment is scheduled for February 2022.

 

I am hoping to raise enough funds for her to be able to pay for these treatments. Our family will do whatever it takes to give Destiny the chance to feel like herself again.
