For the past several years, I’ve been working hard to turn things around for myself, my animals, and my partner. We started from the bottom and have been pushing to get ahead for 3-4 years now—maybe even longer. This year, I set a goal to get my license back and a vehicle by July, but as the deadline approaches, I’m feeling anxious that I might let myself down. Winter brought extra bills, and there are fines I need to pay in order to get my license reinstated. We’ve finally almost made it to the top, but it feels like we’re stuck and can’t get caught up, no matter how hard we try.

Having my license and a vehicle would change everything for us. Right now, I depend on an elderly friend to take me to work in Norton, and I know it’s a lot for them. We walk to the grocery store, gas stations, and dollar stores, and we aren’t able to do much fun stuff because we don’t have a vehicle. With your support, I could pay off the fines, get my license back, and purchase a vehicle. This would give us the opportunity to finally get caught up and move forward, making a real difference for me, my animals, and my partner. It would mean I could get to work, run errands, and take care of daily tasks without relying on others. It would also allow us to do more and enjoy life, instead of just surviving.
