Help Destiny Get a Food Trailer

My name is Destiny Spears. I am a first-generation indigenous business owner and an enrolled member of the Narragansett Indian tribe from Charlestown, RI. In July 2025, I opened Wisagate LLC, and since then, my family and I have traveled up and down the east coast, feeding communities at every stop. We have been proudly sharing our indigenous-inspired food while operating out of a 10x10 pop-up tent.

With the cold months still here, business has slowed down because we can't operate in freezing temperatures. It is crucial for us to continue providing food for every community in a safe and healthy environment. We are striving to purchase a food trailer to continue our mission of traveling, cooking, and serving our communities. With your help purchasing a food trailer, this much-needed upgrade would allow us to feed more people safely and efficiently.

As a Native American female business owner, struggling to travel up and down the east coast operating out of a 10x10 pop-up tent is not the way we want to be feeding communities at pow wows and different cultural events. With this purchase of a food trailer, we can start to expand into fairs and festivals, introducing Native American and indigenous cuisine to the mainstream public. Being able to purchase a food trailer would be a lifelong dream come true. Your support will help us continue our mission and share our culture with even more people.
