Help Me Build a Mobile Storefront & Safe Space for My Small Business
Hi friends, it’s Destinie, the hands and heart behind Des’s Wicked Oddities.
This is hard for me to ask, but I’m reaching out with hope and a dream:
I’m raising funds to purchase a pop-up camper that I can convert into a traveling storefront, a safe, secure, and beautiful space where I can bring my art to life and take my small business on the road.
What many people don’t see behind the scenes is just how hard it is to do what I do. I travel long hours across Florida and out of state, hauling tables, tents, and my entire display by myself — often with no place to stay but my car or whatever motel I can afford.
It’s exhausting. It’s risky. And honestly, it’s wearing me down.
With your help, I can purchase and convert a pop-up camper into a mobile version of Des’s Wicked Oddities, a storefront on wheels, a safe place to rest, and a creative space that reflects my work and soul.
This camper would allow me to:
Travel safely to more shows and markets across the Southeast
Create a consistent and professional setup to showcase my work
Sleep safely on-site during multi-day events, avoiding unsafe or unaffordable lodging
Protect myself from unpredictable weather and burnout
Keep growing the dream I’ve built from nothing
I’ve worked so hard to get where I am. Every show I attend, every piece I create, every late-night drive, it’s all been fueled by passion and community. If you’ve ever visited my booth, supported my art, or shared my posts, thank you. Truly.
Now, I’m asking for help to take this next step not just for comfort, but for survival.
Even the smallest donation or share will help me build a safer, stronger, and more sustainable future for Des’s Wicked Oddities.
Thank you for believing in weird magic, handmade art, and the power of dreams on wheels.
With love and deepest gratitude,
Destinie
