Help Me Save Simply Vibes Apothecary

Hi, my name is Destinee. I’m a mother, a dreamer, and the proud owner of Simply Vibes Apothecary, a spiritual wellness shop in Charlotte, NC.

This is not easy to write. Asking for help is one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do. But right now, this is my last resort. I’m reaching out to my community, my supporters, and to those who believe in small businesses, in healing, and in purpose-driven work.

Simply Vibes Apothecary is more than just a store. I opened my doors in June 2024 with a vision: to create a safe, vibrant space for wellness, manifestation, and community. I handcraft each spiritual product with love candles, oils, teas, and tools meant to help others heal, grow, and feel empowered. My space is also home to other minority-owned brands. I've given my shelves to small business owners who believed in themselves, just like I did.

I’ve hosted free events, wellness workshops, and built a platform of over 61,000 supporters, many who’ve called me an inspiration, even when I wasn’t sure how I was doing it myself. I’ve poured everything I have into this place physically, spiritually, emotionally. I even left my marriage because I was told I would fail. But I still chose to believe in myself. I chose to believe in this dream.

Now I’m at a crossroads.

The truth is, I’m behind on rent and facing the very real possibility of closing my doors. I’ve been trying to figure things out quietly, reaching out to family, loved ones, and doing everything I can to stay afloat. But the weight is heavy, and I can’t carry it alone anymore.

I feel like I’m losing everything my marriage, my dreams, my home, even the security I want so deeply to give to my children. But I still have faith. I still have hope. And I still believe that Simply Vibes was never just mine it was built for the community.

This is not just about saving a store; it’s about saving a dream that has uplifted others. It’s about showing my children that their mother didn’t give up. It’s about honoring the people who’ve told me I’ve changed their lives. It’s about keeping a spiritual space open for a community that deserves it.
