Help Destina Get Her Vehicle Back

On August 6th, 2018 i went outside and my car was GONE! I didn't know rather the neighborhood kids were joy riding in it or if jd byrider had reposed. i did my due diligence by calling the police and seeing if i could file a police report, they notified me that Extreme Towing had my vehicle since July 2018. I informed them that i picked the vehicle up from the the day it got town i have been driving it and it was parked outside my apartment and is not there anymore. after a long day of continuously calling several tow companies in the past that had towed my car, that if they tow a vehicle they would report it to the police the police, i called the police again to file a stolen vehicle report. 8 months later.......... I was finally contacted by the RPD about my vehicle on March 23rd,2019 informing me that ABT Towing was trying to registrar my car.

Based the information given to me by the detective on the case, it was never reported in the data base and the tow company is requesting $13,000 to recover my vehicle. The other catch is that I am leasing this vehicle from JD Byrider and still owe $8,849.00 on the vehicle.

For the first month after my vehicle was stolen, I was able to maintain the payments but afterwards it started to become very hectic in a matter of short timing. I had no transportation back and forward from work as well as school, so I started paying for transportation like uber and the bus. The bus was not always reliable. When taking the bus to work, I had to leave out of the house at least 2 hours before my shift started, I caught the bus as close as possible to my job location and had to walk 1.3 miles from the bus stop, just to get to work. Being 5 months pregnant and high risk with extreme hip pain, walking 1.3 miles daily was not physically possible. eventually, I lost my job and I had to drop out of the college because my school books were in my car. Now, i am a mother to a 7 month old baby boy and it has been a horrible struggle trying to maintain a part time job, pay for transportation, child care as well as transportation. I have went to the channel 8 news to report my story to everyone. I just want to get my vehicle back or possibly get another vehicle that gets me from point A to B and have this off my credit.
