Help Destin C. Recover!

Hello, my name is Alec Cavazos and I set this fundraiser up to help my big brother, my bandmate and my friend - Destin - recover from a recent accident.

On October 25th, Destin's place in Denver caught fire. Destin was in the house at the time but was lucky to get out in time. Fortunately, his roommate and her dog were not home at the time and his cat Diego survived the fire. Unfortunately though, Destin suffered smoke inhalation and deep thickness burns to both hands, as well as burns to his face and ears. On Nov 1st Destin underwent surgery where he received skin grafts to the backs of both hands.

He spent close to two weeks in the burn unit with a GREAT team and was released on Nov 7th to continue to recuperate. We're grateful for the great care he received and the long term recovery looks good so now we're trying to get him there.

Destin lost almost all of his possessions in the fire and is left without a place to stay long term. Almost all of his clothes, his bass "Sheila" that he built himself, bass amp, guitar, PS5, even the sweatband he got from Ben Gibbard (Death Cab for Cutie) were all lost. We know these things too will get resolved but anything we can do to help him out during this time would be great.
