Help Desirei Perez Secure Legal Defense

Hey my name is Desirei Perez.

This is one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to share, but I need help. I am currently fighting a domestic violence charge after acting in self-defense.

For a long time, I endured emotional, financial, psychological, and that day physical abuse. I stayed because I wanted to believe things could get better. We even went to couples counseling to try to resolve our issues and take the right steps forward. But after I said “yes” to the engagement, the gaslighting and manipulation escalated.

I didn’t want to share my relationship struggles with others because I believed in working on things together and keeping our relationship private. But when an argument two weeks ago turned into him destroying my property, taking my belongings, and physically manhandling me when I tried to leave, I had no choice but to call the police. He also called, and because he had visible scratches, I was the one taken to jail.

He told me before: “I’m going to make your life a living hell, you ain’t gonna be shit without me.” Right now, his upper hand is money and the false narrative he’s been spreading (I’m the abusive one).

I just started working again and I’m determined not to let this abusive relationship define my future.

What I need most is a good lawyer to defend my case and my name. Without one, I risk losing the chance to rebuild the life I’ve been working so hard for.
