Good morning, everyone. I'm Samantha Fuerte, sharing on behalf of my sister, Desiree Garcia.

I received a call from my mom this morning informing me that my sister's home had caught fire. Given the physical and emotional toll it's taken on her family, my sister isn't able to share or post about it herself. Thus, I'm stepping in to share her story on her behalf.

Their home in Lancaster, CA was engulfed in flames this morning Friday 05/10/2024 due to a fire spreading from a neighboring house. They've lost nearly everything they own and are in urgent need of assistance to replace essential items. Your support, whether through sharing this post or donating, would be immensely appreciated as they navigate this challenging time.

The entirety of the funds collected will support Desiree and her children, providing them with accommodation in a hotel until their situation is settled, as well as covering their needs for food, clothing, shoes, hygiene essentials, and mattresses.
