Hi. My name is Desirée and I am a full time single mom to an amazing (almost) 3 year old. My motherhood journey has been riddled with struggles since I do not receive any sort of financial or physical support and recently the biggest ball has been dropped: our landlord informed us that they will be selling the house we currently live in and we must move out in the next 30 days.

This is a huge blow due to the lack of finances to a) Secure funds necessary for moving and b) Secure a new home for my daughter and I.

I am also entertaining the idea of purchasing an RV to take the place of a new home, but it all depends on how much funds I am able to raise, how quickly, and what living options become available to us.

Being a mother in our world has become increasingly difficult, and when you add the fact that many of us are doing it alone, starved for community and a true village of support, these types of mountains seems almost impossible to climb. But I have faith in humanity. I have faith that good people exist and are willing to offer their support for those of us raising the next generation.
