Help Desiree and Grayson Battle Health Issues

Please help my friend Desiree and her son Grayson.

Des and Grayson have been experiencing some very serious medical problems. Des is a type 1 diabetic and Grayson has cystic fibrosis.

Grayson was admitted may 25th - may 30th at cedar crest in the icu due to cf complications. He was discharged home with a PIC line to complete a heavy dose of multiple antibiotics every few hours around the clock. His pic line was removed on June 10th and on July 22nd just finally tested negative for any on going infections.

July 9th Desiree woke up sick and tested positive for adeno virus. Was sick from July 9th - 14th. On July 14th brought jnto the emergency room after complications in sepsis shock and with mrsa. Admitted to the icu from 14th - 18th. Discharged on the 19th. On July 20th suffered a diabetic emergency while driving blood sugar of 847 had a seizure and totaled her car.

She has been able to use FMLA through out the past few months but that time has been unpaid and she has exhausted her sick and vacation time.

On July 15th she was notified her work from home accommodation had expired and she was being asked to return to office. She is unable to do so for obvious reasons. Car accident caused .. large amount of swelling throughout the inferior forehead bilaterally…. edema throughout the dependent subcutaneous tissues of the posterior neck, including mild hemorrhage/edema within the bilateral posterior triangles of the neck…dependent atelectasis of the visualized bilateral lung fields.. aka bottom lung collapsed.. significant trauma with severe neurologic injury.

All funds raised will go to helping Desiree pay for medical expenses not covered by insurance, rent and utility bills that she has fallen behind on, and to pay for a down payment for a vehicle to allow her to get to and from medical appointments.
